Leidse Schouwburg (1705) and Stadsgehoorzaal (1826) are cultural
institutions in Leiden. Together, they wanted to feel younger, broader,
and more alive, especially with the opening of Café Caat.
KesselsKramer repositioned the organisation as a vibrant cultural
powerhouse full of stories. We created a new identity built around three
ways of experiencing them: watching, listening, sharing. Energetic,
playful, and flexible enough for both classic and contemporary
programming.
Café Caat received its own voice, rooted in the same identity, able to
stand alone while still being part of the family. You might recognize
the smile.
